Congratulations to Nicole Garay, this year’s recipient of Sustainable Sudbury’s annual Award for Environmental Leadership. The award was presented by Marie Royea, pictured here with Nicole at the Community Scholarship Awards ceremony at Lincoln Sudbury Regional High School.
Nicole is a 2019 graduate of LSRHS. At LS, she worked tirelessly with the Environmental Club, drafting bylaws, meeting with governing boards and community groups, and presenting at town meetings, as a leader behind the environmentally conscious bylaws to reduce plastic waste in both Lincoln and Sudbury. Nicole will attend Tufts University in the fall.
