Larry Chretien, executive director of Green Energy Consumers Alliance, will discuss renewable energy (such as off-shore wind) and describe opportunities to speed the transition to zero-emission power.

Climate Resilience in Your Own Backyard
Allison Houghton, author of The Carbon Sequestering Garden: Gardening for the Planet While Growing Some of the Best Food Possible, will explain how we can become better stewards of the soil in our gardens. Our actions will provide benefits not only to the food we grow but also to local ecosystems, watersheds, communities, and the planet.
