Sudbury Town Manager Search: How to Get Involved


Sudbury is hiring a new Town Manager! The Town Manager serves as the Town’s Chief Executive and has significant influence in every department, project, and activity of our Town government.

There are opportunities coming up for residents to share their thoughts and influence the hiring process. Please consider making your voice heard on this critical leadership position for our community!

Nov 7th and 9th – Virtual Forums
The Town will be hosting two hour-long community forums starting at 6:30PM on Monday, November 7th and at 6:30PM on Wednesday, November 9th.

The forums will be held via Zoom. This is your chance to tell the Select Board and others about the qualities you want to see in a Town Manager, and what issue you most want the Town Manager to address.

Nov 12th – Open Interviews
A consultant has generated a shortlist of potential candidates for our Select Board to consider. Open interviews of the shortlisted candidates will be take place during a public Select Board meeting in the Lower Level of Town Hall on Saturday, Nov. 12th.

Although subject to change, there are currently interviews scheduled for 9AM, 10:15AM, 1PM, and 2:15PM. As with all Select Board meetings, the interviews will be streamed live on SudburyTV and also recorded for SudburyTV Video on Demand to be viewed later.
