Bring an unlimited amount for $5.00 or free for members of Sustainable Sudbury
Our recyling company, Refoamit, accepts the following foam items:
The usual “Styrofoam” packing foam that comes with big items like new TVs
Also, any foam that has the recycling symbol 6 PS in the triangle such as:
  • Packing blocks
  • Produce and meat trays (MUST have a #6 in the recycling symbol)
  • Take out containers with #6 recycling symbol
  • Hot cups such as Dunkin’ Donuts, Honey Dew and Cumberland Farms,
  • Foam egg cartons
  • Rinsed school trays
  • White insulation board
We now ALSO accept:
  • #5 PP PolyPro Foam
  • #4 LDPE – Low and High Density Polyethylene (soft and bounces back) – please package separately
  • Pipe insulation
  • Peanuts and bubble wrap, PLEASE BAG SEPARATELY
